The Best Time to Visit Šibenik for Sailing

Šibenik is our home base and one of Croatia’s most underrated coastal cities. For sailors, it’s the perfect launching point for the Kornati islands.

Spring (April – June)

Spring is ideal for sailing courses. The weather is warm (20-25°C), the sea is calm, and the islands are uncrowded.

Summer (July – August)

Peak season brings the warmest water and strongest thermal winds. Great practice for real-world skills like maneuvering in tight spaces.

Autumn (September – October)

Our favourite time. The sea is still warm, the crowds have thinned, and the light is magical. September offers excellent sailing conditions.
